 Hypo’s are unique in the way that they work to target and retrain your core and pelvic floor from the inside out. They target your deep core and postural muscles – while training you to subconsciously support yourself. It is truly a low pressure workout! Utilizing isometric tension – you literally can create as tough a workout as you want. Also, Hypopressives increase your lung capacity and breathing function – which increases oxygenation throughout your body. (BONUS!) =) 


 Yoga Pants or comfortable athletic pants Sports bra and T-shirt or athletic shirt with built in support I prefer that you go barefoot for optimum proprioception, Yoga Mat


   Yes! It is a fantastic regimen to use during pregnancy. Not only does it help stabilize and keep your core strong, but it helps maintain good circulation and helps your posture. While we do modify the breathing not to incorporate the apneic breath – or hypopressive breath – the postures and deep breathing are still an amazing low pressure, isometric workout that you can do to keep in shape & bounce back faster after you have that beautiful baby! 


No! While I am currently gearing my practice towards women - Hypopressives, Low Pressure fitness can help men too! Athletes, ED problems, Prostate pressure, back problems - men can definitely benefit as well. So if you know a man that could utilize this training to help improve his quality of life or athletic capabilities - let them know about Core Strength
